Chris and Lisa Trickett

Chris, and wife Lisa came to us from Rosharon, TX where Chris was the Youth Director at the First Baptist Church in Rosharon.  God has been building Chris up and molding him for youth ministry since leading worship at Young Life back in the spring of 2003.

Chris’ process for this comes from Psalm 119:9 and Matthew 28:19.  We are all called to make disciples.  There is no way to do that without the Word of God.  Our responsibility as disciple-makers extends no further than building relationships, teaching the Word, and modeling the life of a follower of Jesus.

Chris was raised in a God-fearing home by parents that loved the Lord and taught him in biblical ways.  On the way to his family’s hunting lease, his mother and sister shared the Gospel with him in their family van.  He crawled to the rear of the van and prayed that Jesus would enter his heart…..about 10 times just to make sure.

Chris enjoys ultimate Frisbee, singing/playing guitar; backpacking, and cooking with Lisa.

Elaine Plante

Elaine and her husband Don began attending GrandView Community Church in 1993 just a few months before they were married.  They have been blessed since then with a precious daughter whose name is Katie.  Prior to becoming a mother, Elaine was employed for ten years at Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs where she worked in the Accounting department.

She began as treasurer at GrandView in 1998.  She stepped out of the position for three years, but then resumed that same role again in 2014.  Elaine is a stay-at-home mom who enjoys homeschooling her daughter, gardening, hiking, and playing the piano.

Cindy Underwood

Cindy has attended GrandView Community Church for over 25 years and it has become like a second home to her.  She has been married to Jaman for 40 years and they have 4  children and 3 grandchildren.  After homeschooling all 4 children, she then spent her time volunteering at non-profits. GrandView is the third of those that have hired her after time at The Christian and Missionary Alliance as well as Mercy’s Gate.  She now volunteers at Dream Centers Women’s Clinic after she gets off of work on Tuesdays.  An avid reader, she hosts a Book Club as well as a Bible Study in her home. Our babies and toddlers are in excellent care!
